Chassis Dynos allow to test vehicles and measure power without having to dismount the
engine. Power and torque available in the wheel, engine and losses in the transmission can
be measured. These dynos allow testing in the shop, avoiding street or road tests which
mean risk, difficulties and imprecise conclusions.
We build alternatives for cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATVs and karting, in inertial format,
with electric or hydraulic brake and also combined.
The BRFE uses an eddy current brake to generate load on the dynamometer rollers. Electric brakes torque output is easy to control and do not depend on rpm this is why it allows automated test programs to be established, setting torque or speed targets, simulating any driving condition by applying aerodynamic friction factors or a sloping route.
It is manufactured in different versions according to the axle weight of the vehicles to be tested and their power, it is an excellent option for diagnostic tests, consumption, emission tests, etc. It has a pneumatic lift or locking brake for the entry and exit of vehicles operated by remote control which makes assembly very easy. The maintenance required on the dynamometer is very low.
Electric brake Advantages
Dynos with eddy current brakes do not require water installation, this simplifies startup and is practically delivered ready to operate. On the other hand, the automatic control it very easy to establish different conditions during the test, establishing excellent speed or torque controls and real driving situations with editable aerodynamic friction factor or simulating slopes in route.
The BRFH for cars, buses and trucks has a water brake attached to the rollers that allows to reproduce any driving condition for the desired time. It is manufactured in different versions according to the axle weight of the vehicles to be tested and their power, it is an excellent option for diagnostic tests, consumption, emission tests, etc.
The water brake allows this dynamometer to generate a controlled load on the drive wheels with excellent stability. It has a pneumatic lift or locking brake for the entry and exit of vehicles operated by remote control which makes assembly very easy. The maintenance required on the dynamometer is very low.
Watr brake advantages
water in the brakes acts as a braking agent and also transfers the power delivered to heat, therefore, with a suitable circuit, it is possible to carry out long-term tests with sustained load dissipation. These brakes also offer very stable test conditions.
